Mahendra Singh Dhoni patrols in Kashmir


Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will be patrolling the Jammu and Kashmir Valley.

The complimentary Lieutenant Colonel Dhoni of the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army patrols the garment of the army, according to Indian news agency ANI.
Dhoni will serve in the 3 Provincial Battalion from July 1 to August 1. This unit is part of the Victor force in Kashmir. While staying, Dhoni will be on patrol, guard and post duty.

2-year-old Dhoni became the complimentary Lieutenant Colonel of the Territorial Army in the year 8.
Earlier, Indian Army General Bipin Rawat had said he would allow Dhoni's desire to spend two months in the parachute regiment.

Dhoni told the Indian cricket team's selection committee last Sunday that he would spend six months in the army. Dhoni, who retired from the Test, also said that he will not be immediately discharged from the ODIs and T20 games.
The Indian Cricket Board has given Rishabh Pant a wicket keeper role after Dhoni is not in the Indies team. Pant will be the wicket keeper in the ODI and T-2 format cricket. In the Test, Riddhiman Saha is also the wicket keeper.
