T-20 World Cup Asia selection from today


Kathmandu: The Asian selection tournament under ICC Twenty20 World Cup Cricket has begun in Singapore from today. In the first game, domestic team Singapore and Qatar are competing now.
In the second match today, Nepalese will travel to Kuwait and Malaysia at 5:30 pm. Nepal is playing its first game against Qatar on Tuesday morning. The Nepali cricket team arrived in Singapore on Saturday for the tournament. Nepal will play second game with Malaysia on 24th July, third play with Kuwait, 27 July and organizer with Singapore on July 28.
Five countries including Nepal, Singapore, Kuwait, Malaysia and Qatar are participating in the competition. The top team of the tournament, based on the Round Rovin League, will be selected in the Global Qualifier to be held in the UAE in October. Global teams will have 3 teams participating in the qualifier. The top 5 teams will play the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia.
Nepal is the strongest team in this competition. Nepal has focused on making a place in the Global Qualifier, delivering favorable results in all competitions.
