Math is a logical science.Due to its existence, it's been easy to describe the nature of any objects in the universe.It has different branches such as geometry,algebra,probability etc.All the branches contains a lots of theorem derived logically.All those can be proved with certain method, some of theorem not been proved yet and mathematician considered those as conjecture.Few methods to prove the given statement are given below:
1) Direct Method
This is the most popular method.In this method,we use axioms and other previous statements logically in sequence starting with given clues from the statement and goes towards the statement.
2) Contradiction
Sometimes it will be difficult to prove by direct method then Contradiction is used.First we assume the statement which seems to be false is true and we use different logic in sequence and as a consequence we get the result which becomes false.Then,obviously the assumption becomes true.This method is called Contradiction.
3) Method of mathematical induction
It is sample type of method.In this method, we check the statements for few samples and we also check for (n+1)th term,if it becomes true, thenthe given statement is valid as true.
